Forgotten Tunes - Isomorphic Harp
Immerse yourself in Celtic-inspired harp tunes, where you'll have a taste of a forgotten musical instrument design - the isomorphic layout.
What sets this game apart is its procedurally generated music – an innovative system that composes music in real-time, reacting to your gameplay. Every node that you select influences the tune, creating a soundscape that is dynamic and interactive.
No two gaming sessions will be the same – the music changes with each play, creating a unique auditory adventure each time!

The Forgotten Knowledge - Isomorphic Design
An "isomorphic" musical instrument is designed in a way that makes it more intuitive and easier to learn than traditional musical instruments. The term "isomorphic" refers to the layout of the notes, where the same pattern of finger movements can produce the same type of musical interval or chord, no matter where you start from on the instrument.
For example, let's say you learn a certain finger pattern to play a C major chord on an isomorphic instrument. On a traditional instrument like the piano, if you try to use the exact same finger pattern to play a D major chord, it won't work, because the arrangement of the black and white keys is different. But on an isomorphic instrument, the same finger pattern would correctly produce a D major chord, or any other major chord, no matter where you started from.
This layout not only makes the instrument more accessible to beginners but can also offer more creative possibilities to experienced musicians, as they can play around with different patterns more easily. Isomorphic cross-strung harp is an example of isomorphic instruments.
